Description
It is always important to have a way of getting out of a situation where you don't know where you are. On Learn to Train / Novice courses all on trails (or other distinct linear features) you should apply the follow steps if you realise you ahve taken a wrong turn and have headed down the wrong feature for a ways:
- Stop (Admit you are lost right away!)
- Figure out where you were last (the earlier you stop the easier this is)
- Retrace your steps - go back to a junction, trail, or the last control
